Our Promise to You

Customer satisfaction is essential to the success of our flower delivery service. Howdens Florist guarantees freshness. We only buy first grade fresh flowers from the local flower market on a daily basis. We ensure that each order is executed to the full flower value.

We take great care to ensure that each item is specially created with care and that the only the freshest flowers are used. Flower arrangements are created by our experienced Floral Stylist.

We strive to improve on the combination of creativity, experience and guaranteed quality that goes into the development of each arrangement. We put a lot of work into establishing what you, our customers want.

Our Delivery Promise

We offer same day delivery to most areas. Telephonic orders must be placed before 13:00 / internet orders before 10:00. Saturday orders need to be placed before 10:00 (including internet orders) for same day delivery.




Howdens Florist does not deliver on Sundays or Public Holidays

Special delivery conditions apply to hospitals, hotels, ships, airports, funeral directors and cemeteries, i.e. where deliveries are made to a central point and not directly to the recipient. Please note that orders to a hospital must be delivered in a vase – bunches cannot be delivered. Funeral orders can be delivered at a specific time – please arrange directly with Howdens.

In certain cases, the signature of a person authorised to receive the order shall be accepted as proof of delivery and the fulfilment of the order. Howdens Florist cannot take responsibility for flowers being stolen.

Howdens Florist will always make every effort to deliver customer gifts to that special person. If the recipient is not available, the driver will leave a “Sorry, you were out “card, inviting them to call the florist and arrange a more convenient delivery time. An additional delivery fee may apply. Rural areas still present a challenge and therefore there’s no delivery service available.

Howdens Florist cannot take responsibility for deliveries to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer.


Any customer complaint must be made to Howdens Florist within 24 hours after the flower delivery. Our dedicated staff will give you their full attention to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
